Founded The Happy Study—originally known as Happy Study—to provide personalized, one-on-one lessons tailored to each student’s unique learning style.

Relocated to the U.S. and gained classroom experience as a math tutor, substitute teacher, and math interventionist.

✈️ 2025 – Los Angeles, California

Reestablished The Happy Study, blending years of teaching and tutoring experience to make math learning effective, engaging, and fun.

Hi, I’m Hande! I’m dedicated to helping students build confidence and succeed in math. I understand that every student is unique and learns at their own pace, which is why I create customized learning plans tailored to each individual’s strengths and areas for growth. With years of experience as a tutor and substitute teacher, I strive to provide a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment where every student feels supported, motivated, and able to reach their full potential.

Expertise in Math

I have a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Mathematics from Istanbul University (equivalent to a U.S. degree) and specialize in teaching math to students of all ages and levels. I help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals, all while making math engaging, understandable, and even fun.
